The Foundations of Nutritional Therapy

It's likely you're here because something feels off — afternoon energy crashes, stubborn weight that won't budge, sleep that never restores you, or labs that come back "normal" even though you don't feel like yourself. You've probably tried the generic fixes already, with mixed results at best.

That's because your body has been trying to tell you something — and Nutritional Therapy is how we learn to actually listen. Not through one-size-fits-all protocols, but through a plan built entirely around your biology, history, and goals. Bio-individuality isn't a buzzword; it's the foundation of how I work.

Together, we'll connect the dots between how you feel, what you eat, and how you live — and from there, build realistic, sustainable recommendations tailored to your life.

I'm here to work alongside you, cheering you on toward your goals, so you can create change that actually lasts — the kind that finally makes you feel rooted in your own body again.

Why I do This Work

Welcome, I'm Elisa, an NTA certified holistic Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP) and I'm so glad you're here!

I created this safe space to help you tune into your body, restore balance, and reconnect with its innate wisdom.

After decades of health challenges—including digestive struggles, years of unexplained chronic pain, and a turning point that changed everything I thought I knew about my body and health—I've come to learn that our bodies hold an innate ability to restore balance and thrive, and that lesson is exactly what I built this practice on. My work centers on supporting that natural capacity through nutrition-focused, lifestyle-based guidance tailored to your unique needs, encouraging you to trust yourself and step fully into your own health journey.

As a certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP), I help you reconnect with the core foundations of health that shape everyday wellness—nutrition, digestion, sleep, energy, stress resilience, and blood sugar regulation. Through compassionate education, practical tools, and bio-individual recommendations, we will work together to strengthen these core systems so you can feel more grounded, energized, and aligned in your daily life.

This is a collaborative, non-medical approach rooted in complete respect for the whole person. Whether you're seeking more vitality, improved focus, restorative sleep, a deeper connection with your body's signals, or simply feeling "more like yourself," I'm here to guide, empower, and support you on your path to sustainable well-being.

Testimonials

Hear from Those Who've Walked This Path

"After a decade of researching ways to naturally heal, it became apparent that a foundational, healthy lifestyle and nutrient dense diet was key… By applying these principles, I've made huge progress on the healing of my IBD and various other symptoms, a breakthrough I once thought was out of reach."

Hélène Sinisterra

"After I gave birth to my first child, I was exhausted and falling asleep on the couch most nights... I was irritable and impatient, accompanied by jittery and light headed feelings... I now have sustained energy throughout the day and I'm able to keep up with my wild toddler. But what I found truly invaluable was better emotional regulation - which means more patience with my daughter and less snapping at my husband."

Jasmin Khan

"My mom has had some major digestive issues for years. Over the past few weeks, we've focused on the Foundations of Health and she has seen significant change.

"It is extremely exciting to see how Nutritional Therapy can solve health concerns!"

Have questions?

I'm happy to help.

1. What is a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner?

An NTP is a holistic nutrition professional trained to support the body's innate ability to heal through nutrient-dense food, lifestyle changes, and bio-individual guidance — looking at the whole person rather than isolated symptoms.

2. How are NTPs different from nutritionists or dieticians?

NTPs are educators and coaches, not licensed medical providers. This work is educational and wellness-oriented, and is meant to complement — not replace — care from your doctor or other healthcare providers

3. How do I know if this is right for me?

If you're dealing with ongoing symptoms that haven't been fully explained or resolved, feel like something's "off" even when labs look normal, or simply want a more root-cause, whole-body approach to your health — this is likely a good fit. A free discovery call is the easiest way to find out.

4. What does "bio-individual" mean?

It means there's no one-size-fits-all protocol. Your body, history, and goals are unique, so your recommendations are built specifically around you rather than a generic plan.

5. What's the difference between the 3-Month and 6-Month Programs

The 3-Month Program is a focused, foundational deep-dive for most clients. The 6-Month Program is designed for more layered or long-standing imbalances, offering a slower pace, more room to adjust protocols, and extended support. Unsure which is the best for you? Let's talk about it!

6. How do I begin my path to wellness?

I primarily provide virtual sessions, so you can work with me no matter where you're located. You'll receive a scheduling link after your discovery call or whenever you're ready to begin. Scheduling and payments are handled securely — I've kept it quick and simple, so you can focus on what actually matters.

7. What forms of payment do you accept?

The client portal is set up to accept all major credit and debit cards for your convenience and are handled securely.

8. What is your cancellation policy?

Sometimes, life throws us a curve ball — it happens, I know. If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, I ask for 24 hours' notice. Sessions and packages are non-refundable, and cancellations within 24 hours result in the loss of that session. This keeps your care on track and respects the time set aside for other clients.

For clients in the 3-Month or 6-Month Program, a missed session isn't automatically made up elsewhere in your timeline, your remaining sessions continue as originally scheduled. That said, if you'd like to add that time back, just reach out — we can discuss arranging it at the cost of an individual session, space permitting, of course. And please don't worry — I'm on your side. A little advance notice helps us stay focused on your goals and makes sure you get everything you're meant to out of our work together.

Discovery calls can be rescheduled at any time with no penalty.

9. I'm curious about your logo - why did you choose a ginkgo?

Did you know that ginkgo trees can live for over a thousand years? That's a quiet reminder of what's possible when you're deeply rooted and built to endure. Its two-lobed leaf holds symbolic space for both sides of life at once: yin and yang, joy and sorrow, proof that balance isn't about choosing one over the other. And for centuries, it's been a symbol of hope — a gentle nod toward healing, and toward whatever brighter chapter comes next.
